It was the craziest of coincidences. In 2007, Zach Winkle, then a 9-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy was denied a helicopter ride at a county fair because he could not walk, so Metro Air Support agreed to take him up in St. Louis’ police chopper.
Then, while they were flying, there was a hold up, and when the chopper was sent to take a look, Zach spotted the robber hiding in the bushes.Click through for a video and the rest of the story.
