The Death of the Keyboard.Maybe one day,
people will be dragging their fingers
across tablets of glass.
Or murmuring,
with one of those metal spiders
hooked into their ears,
and people will look at them -
Sigh -
and say
“I miss the keyboard
The tapping of fingers on plastic
The snap of the Space
The crack of Return
The blowing of dust
from valleys of cat hair,
Dandruff -
And fluff”
